Shalon Ironroad

Shalon (rhymes with “salon”) Ironroad is on a mission to help LDS women see the power and light they already have inside them as daughters of God. She is the author of The Tale of Little Tree: A Fable About Courage, which is an invitation to understand who you truly are and what you’re capable of.

A military wife, mom of 3, and consultant, Shalon has learned how to rely on the Lord for guidance during times of self-doubt, overwhelm, and uncertainty. She has learned how to use her power to choose to create success and joy in personal and professional endeavors.

Shalon believes that every member of the church is a convert, whether they were born in the church or not. Each of us has to ask questions, work through doubts, and make the commitment on a regular basis to follow our Savior.
She loves teaching young (+ young-at-heart) women about leadership, confidence, and real beauty. She has spoken with both teenagers and adults about faith, leadership, courage, well-being, and motherhood.

Shalon is most excited to speak at SALT because of the opportunity to open her heart and testify of the involvement of our Savior in our lives, and share how partnering with Him gives us power to become more than we can ever imagine.
Shalon is passionate about helping women feel strengthened and supported in their efforts to shine within their orbits – as wives, mothers, friends, and leaders —  and answer the call every day to “something bigger”.
